Halloween Cocktails

I would be remiss if I did this whole week of posts and didn’t include something to go with the bar theme. Welcome to Halloween Eve. Your usual stool is waiting and I have some Halloween Spirits I think you’ll enjoy.

Life has been absolute bonkers for me. I had intentions to mix these myself and try each one out so I could review and let you know if the drink is a fun idea or worse than cough syrup. Instead, I’m going to provide the menu and if you happen to try any of these I’d love to get your review.

The cocktails I am featuring are ones that have a Horror movie theme and the best place to find a huge variety of truly delicious Halloween themed cocktails, you have to check out Monster Movie Happy Hour. There Podcast is so much fun and they have a catalogue of drinks you wouldn’t believe. I cannot champion them enough.

My favorite of their cocktails I have featured on my blog in the past and that’s their Burnt Offerings Old Fashioned. I smoke it with Cherry Wood chips to give it that little extra.

To make:

Combine 2oz whiskey, 1 oz Rosemary Cinnamon Syrup, and 2 dashes of bitters in an old fashioned glass. Add ice and burn the end of a cinnamon stick and insert burnt end up with a sprig of rosemary in the glass for garnish.

The next set of drinks was first posted by my friend on Twitter Sarah Sinn. I’m not sure where she got these but when I asked for drink recommendations for the online Mutant Family Last Drive-In Night I hosted, she posted these images. I really want to give at least some of these a try. Maybe I should do a marathon of all the movies and have the drink and do a post about it. 🤔

Granted the amounts are not provided on these but that can easily be done to one’s own taste. I love the pictures of the drinks and would be curious to make them and find out if they really do look this nice.

Well, time to to release the hounds, Get ready for Ghouls night out, and dust off the old claws for tomorrow. Happy Halloween Eve and I hope you have a spooky good time, and don’t get any floss in your trick or treat bag.
