What Horror fan doesn’t know about Fangoria? Fangoria was a huge part of my teenage years and still is. Long time reader short time subscriber If I’m being honest. When I was a teenager I started reading Fangoria without purchasing.

When I was a teenager I worked at Sam Goody at Jamestown Mall. On my breaks I would hit up A&W for lunch/dinner, and then hang out in Waldenbooks reading the latest edition of Fangoria.

Fast forward to the adult years and I was working at Barnes & Noble. I was the lead of cookbooks, sports, art, and magazines. My job was to keep the sections organized and clear out the the old magazines to make room for the new. When we cleared out the old ones, we would tear off the front covers (strips) and throw away the magazine. Back then we got to keep anything we wanted that was to be thrown out so I had quite the new stand collection of Fangoria without covers.

Now to current, I am in a good place financially and I decided it was time to become part of what I have been enjoying from afar. Long time reader, year subscriber. And I will never look back.

Because I am so passionate about this brand, I was asked to do a video and feature some of their products. I stepped out of my skin, pulled up my big boy flesh, and Leatherfaced a smile. Check it out:

So some of the items in this video are amazing and i have enjoyed them all. I love the Lapel pins and my wife and I have a small collection we are going to get cork board for an display them all. My Fangoria pins will be on display of course. We have the pride on also but my wife has all our pins for a collection and I’m not sure where she put them. 🤣

The Fangoria Travel Tumbler is perfect. it’s the size of a large cup of coffee and it keeps it piping hot for most of the day. One of the cool things about this is the attention to detail Fangoria provides. When I opened the box, the protective cuff had a nod to one of my favorite classic horror movies They Live “Consume” “Drink” The design is etched into the tumbler so none of this peeling of vinyl or flaking of paint which I love. I recently spent the day at my Daughter’s State Gymnastics competition and I filled this up at the hotel and had coffee to get me through the whole thing. The lid even has a block so if you have ice in it, it will not slide and hit you in the face while you drink.
